SSL on Selected Pages
Add to Favourites
|
Hi,
I enabled https/SSL on the checkout pages without any problems by entering my site’s https address in the configuration. However, I also need to enable SSL on the shopping cart page (i.e. the page just prior to checkout).
I have managed to do this by changing the regular URL of the site to https in the configuration->web, therefore turning on SSL for every page of my Magento site . However, this makes the site much too slow, and is unnecessary for most pages.
How do I turn on SSL only for the shopping cart page (in addition to the checkout pages)? Do I need to add something in .htaccess to do this? Will this create problems with sessions and the basket?
Thanks,
Matt
