Paypal – “Sorry, an Error Occurred After You Clicked the Last Link”

I thought I’d share my recent experiences with officially the worlds worst company. This organisation is a joke, and they have been holding my money for the past four weeks – and I am unable to login in order to access my account, therefore I cannot withdraw the funds to my bank account.
I have exchanged more than 20 emails with their deluded staff, including Emelia, Jean, Marissa, Joyce, Scholastica (is that even a name?), Mary Rose, Tyron, Edwin, Heidi, Marion – and each every time their answers have been shocking.
You see, when I login, I get the following error message: “Sorry, an error occurred after you clicked the last link”. It continues: “If you were in the process of buying something, or sending money to family or friends, we recommend you check both your PayPal account and your email inbox for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes….”
What?
I’ve been told to change computer, change browser, refresh cookies, changing my password – basically being shoved from pillar to post. Each member of staff has consistently failed to acknowledge that it is their error – and one time, a member of staff even had the audacity to suggest that because she could not see the error, there WAS no error! I even went to the extent of sending them my username and password and asking them to login themselves.
It has been 4 weeks now and the saga is yet to be solved. I’d like to withdraw the money so I can buy some frigging Christmas presents! Sweet jesus, if an organisation such as Abbey had these errors online, there was be chaos – but thankfully, they have the infrustructure to solve these problems within minutes of them occuring.
Paypal however just seems to be some smoke-screen of a company that doesn’t have any sense, any pride in customer service, and an absolutely shocking IT department.
I swear if it wasn’t owned by Ebay it probably wouldn’t be around, because as far as I (and many others) am concerned, they can stick their crap service up their backsides.
Rubbish.
