If you have ever shopped on GoDaddy, you’ll know that sometimes it is like psychological warfare. It almost has to be seen to be believed. You shop for one domain name, and before long they tempted you with a million different offers!
It’s fair to say that GoDaddy are pretty damn good at plus-selling, but when it comes to their service with Magento, how good is it? Well I can tell you it is very good. There were some initial concerns that the company would not support Magento due to its lack of PHP 5.2 – however fear not, as all hosting packages, large or small, are enabled with the latest version of PHP.
Magento Hosting from GoDaddy is very much an under-advertised part of the GoDaddy empire, possibly because they’re so big they do not need to emphasise the fact that they support it – however, I’m sure that as soon as the platform becomes the number one for E-Commerce, Bob Parsons will be singing and dancing about it!
I’ve even managed to blag some handy coupon codes for you if you fancy buying a domain, hosting, or anything like that:
