While I’m on a Firefox plugin mission, I thought I’d briefly mention Colorzilla too, which is a great little tool for finding the Hex value of any colour on a web page.
Back in the day, if I wanted to either match a background colour with a colour that I’m inserting into a style-sheet, I would do a Print-Screen, copy the image, paste it into Photoshop, and then use the Eye-Dropper tool to find the value of the colour.
Now though, just use the plugin within Firefox! Click the Eye-Dropper in the bottom right corner, click on the part of your web-page, and once selected, right-click the Eye-Dropper again and then you can choose copy either the Hex value (with or without the #), copy the RGB values, and plenty more…
Now doesn’t Colorzilla save you time!
