Browser Timeout After Edit Attribute Save?

When I add an attribute for the first time, it saves properly (thanks to Michael’s patch files). However, when I edit the attribute and try to save the changes, the browser just perma-loads for 25 minutes and then times out.

I noticed similar “timeout” behavior if I tried to make mass-updates to a large number of product entities. The only difference is, I have no reason to believe simply editing an attribute would require updating a problematic number of records. (have 6,000 sku’s)

Thoughts?

I hate to be so persistent, but this problem is a show-stopper. Is my “timeout on attribute edit” problem an isolated case, or is there a real issue here that is being addressed? In either case, it needs to be resolved so I can begin populating attributes.

    I’ve got the same problem, once I installed another payment module. No idea why this is happening..
