Make Items Saved in Upload Module Display in the Attribute Selection on the Add/edit Product Page

hi! i created a document upload module using this tutorial: http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/custom_module_with_custom_database_table#module_creator and then used this tutorial: here to be able to add custom attribute with the module i made.

i was able to display a multiselect box with static options in the general tab on add/edit product. my problem now is how to be able to make the options show the list of uploaded documents stored in the db and also have the selected items saved when the product is saved. hope someone can help me. thanks!
