How can I restrict certain categories (and all sub categories and products under it) to not be available to ship to certain locations. I’ve got some products like clothing that can be shipped anywhere but I also have some other large wooden toys and the like that I only want shipped to specific places due to prohibitive costs. |

I have downloadable product, let’s call it ‘SomeBook’. I want to add something like ‘errata’ or ‘updated version’ to this book - no problem here, I just add new files to product. But, I also want to give access to new files to every customer who already bought ‘SomeBook’. Does anybody know if it’s possible? How can I do that?

I have been having a difficult time locating some simple, detailed and complete information on importing Category names (ie. televisions, books, non-fiction books, teddy bears, etc.), Attribute Sets (ie. televisions, hand tools, make-up, electronics, books, etc.), Attributes (ie. color, manufacturer, etc) and Attribute data (ie. black, white, green, etc.). Additionally, what are the specific benefits of using Attribute Sets rather then just a single attribute set that includes all attributes? Can we all contribute to this thread in an organized fashion to give detailed directions on how to import using DataFlow and directly into sql using phpMyAdmin or whatever? Specific How-To’s:
1. Import Categories (Using DataFlow)
4. Import Attribute Sets (Using DataFlow)
7. Import Attributes (Using DataFlow)
10. Import Attribute data (Using DataFlow)
